Six Areas the Biden Administration and Democrats Need To Address in 2021

It is time to put up or shut up with the Democrats in control

On January 20, 2021, the Biden administration will officially take control of the Federal government. After four years, the Democrats have complete control of the White House, Senate, and the House. This means there is no excuses or reason to blame the Republicans or other factors for not addressing long over issues. However, the Biden administration needs to lead the call of the Senate and House to address lingering issues that cannot wait. In fact, the Democrats and Biden have two years until many Senate and House seats are up for grabs leading to control. Here are the issues that Biden administration need to address in 2021. And yes, I know some of these areas and ideas might be considered extreme or too radical. No one stopped the previous administration from going big. Why should Biden not hesitate to do the same?
Immigration. It is time to establish a formal and clear path to citizen that should have been dealt with decades ago. For instances, those involved in the military and DACA should be considered for citizenship if they completed their required time without committing any violent crimes or actions detrimental to their path to citizenship. Many of those who are DACA recipients have obtained higher education or performed services that helped their communities. Others have served honorably in our armed services, defending this country and the freedoms of its citizens. In return for their service, why not reward them with citizenship.
As for those who are have been in this country for years, it is time to establish other pathways that are clear, concise, and not prolonged. Let us be honest, having undocumented individuals paying a fine for years of being in the United States is not going to work. Especially, when many politicians, American companies and citizens have benefitted from these individuals for cheap labor and tax avoidance purposes.
